From CBTC to DBTC

In CBTC，the tracking and manipulating of the trains are implement by continuous and duplex communication.
For the trains are not fixtures, the communication between wayside and onboard controllers must be wireless. Wireless networks, like Wifi and LTE, its own characteristics, such as switching between base stations, disconnecting, etc, may cause inconsistency of the data between the nodes of communications. This issue must be handled by wayside and onboard controllers of CBTC system.
Now, we have a common concept to handle the data consistency issues, it called, Embedded Distributed Mobility Real-time Database (EDMRTDB). The train control system based on EDMRTDB is DBTC (Data or Database Based Train Control)!
